Like it or leave it? here’s my verdict
Beautifully positioned overlooking the river, this hotel offers breathtaking views and charming ambiance. The exceptional dining experience with excellent breakfast and dinner made our stay feel extra special.
While the exterior was enchanting, some rooms felt slightly basic, with limited furnishings and amenities, which could disappoint those expecting high standards.

Staying at Moulin in Connelles felt quite charming, especially with the stunning views over the Seine. I loved having dinner in the lovely restaurant that overlooks the water—each meal was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Breakfast was also delightful, featuring fresh pastries and local cheeses. The owner was incredibly welcoming, always ensuring I felt at home. The room had its own unique character, with a very comfortable bed that helped me sleep soundly. Unfortunately, I had to deal with some early morning road noise, which disrupted my peace a bit. A lighter duvet would have been better for the warm weather. Despite these minor inconveniences, the beautiful surroundings and excellent dining made my stay special.

The setting is enchanting, with the hotel located on a large private island surrounded by beautiful trees, allowing for peaceful moments by the Seine. The owner manageress is exceptionally friendly, offering fantastic service that made our stay feel personalized. The dining experience offered exquisite meals that were beautifully presented, with the breakfast spread featuring fresh pastries and delightful wines! Charming outdoor terraces add to the serene ambiance.
Unfortunately, the road noise was quite disruptive in the early morning hours, which hindered relaxation. The heavy bed cover was uncomfortable for the warm weather, leaving us to sleep under just a sheet. While the decor was eclectic and tasteful, I had hoped for a more comfortable bedding setup during our stay.
